Glad the updates are coming out regularly, but this update killed my site with the white screen of death immediately after updating. Had to manually deactivate it via SFTP to get it live again. Any updates coming soon to fix that? I really need this plugin...
I'm afraid we haven't had any other reports of issues. Can you open a support ticket including as much detail about the error as possible, such as anything which was recorded in the server error log.
No white screen here, but it has broken our complete registration process - we've also had to revert to the previous version of the plugin.
The form shows zero entries and the manage signups page is gone - this was central to how we moderated registrations on the site - surely such big changes should be considered a little more or at least given some legacy support.
The issue should be resolved with the update we just deployed via automatic update which is v3.1. The Gravity Forms User Registration Add-On is a major update, but it wasn't released hastily. It was released as a beta test release over 3 months ago. So it had been tested, a lot. The issue that arose with the public release was primarily around specific versions of PHP which were not encountered during testing. This should be resolved with the v3.1 release that is now available.
I had exactly the same issue. The white screen of death, so deleted plugin files. http://www.urbanart.co.uk
@timothysutton1 A "white screen of death" means there is an error of some sort. In order to determine the exact error you will need to enable debug mode in your wp-config.php file by setting the debug option to true instead of false. Then view the page and instead of a white screen you should see the actual error that is being encountered. HOWEVER before doing that install the v3.1 of the User Registration Add-On that was just released and that should resolve the issue you encountered. If the update that was released today does not resolve the issue, enable debug mode on your WordPress site and then get in touch with our support team with the exact error that is being returned. But the v3.1 release should resolve what you have described.
This update also broke my site. I'll open a support ticket. I get these errors:
Warning: require_once(__DIR__/includes/deprecated.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in D:inetpubfrenchamericancenterblogwp-contentpluginsgravityformsuserregistrationclass-gf-user-registration.php on line 5

Installed 3.1 just now. What happened to manual activation by administrator? Am I missing it?
User activation either via automated email sent by WordPress, or via the admin is still a feature. It was not removed. You enable user activation in the feed configuration and can choose for user activation to occur either via email, or manually. See this screenshot: http://d.pr/i/zkmu
When using user activation via email the user will receive an automated email from WordPress containing a link they must click on to activate their user account. The user will then receive the automated WordPress emails related to their account creation.
When using user activation via manual approval the user will not receive an automated email containing an activation link. Instead, someone with the user capabilities (Administrator by default) would need to manually approve and activate the user via the Pending Activations area in the settings for that form. The user would not be created until an admin clicks on the "Activate" link for the pending user, or using bulk actions to activate multiple users at once. See this screenshot: http://d.pr/i/42xb
Has integration with blog templates been removed? I used to see blog templates in the sign up form and the tick box seems to have disappeared...
Hi Ian,
I'm afraid you would need to contact WPMU Dev for support with the blog templates issue as that setting was added by their integration, from what we understand they are working on a compatibility update for version 3.0+ of the User Registration add-on.
